Half Marathon Training, Day 1: 3 mile run + Cardio
Today was my first day of preparation for the Illinois Half Marathon! It was cold, but I warmed up after a few minutes and had a pretty good run. My knees felt like they got hit with a sledgehammer as soon as I stopped, but I’m going to pretend they didn’t. I went to Charter Fitness with Craig afterwards to do the bike for a half hour and it helped my knees stop hurting. I would call this first run a success. Bring on the training!!
