I would have never picked out this shirt for myself, but when I went to try some stuff on at Express the other day, the woman gave me a couple extra things to try on- and this shirt was one of them! It used to annoy me when they would put extra clothes in the fitting room, but now I kinda like it… it’s nice trying things on that I wouldn’t normally pick up. And also… these are workout pants, but shhhh don’t tell anyone!!

Daily Outfit: Bridal Shower Edition
I’ve only worn this dress twice and both times have been to a bridal shower! I wore this on Saturday to a friend who I grew up with’s shower. There was fruit, cheese, Bingo, punch, present opening, and catching up with old neighborhood friends- overall a pretty good time. The weather was beautiful (unlike the yucky coldness of today) and I’m looking forward to more dress weather! :)

I promised my next Daily Outfit would be more colorful… and then I realized I really don’t wear very many colorful outfits to work! Oh well, at least it isn’t another black and grey outfit :P In other news… it’s Friday and I’m so excited for the weekend!! UFC fights, painting party, and hanging out with the bf… only 6 more hours to go!

Daily Outfit: Working Girl Edition
I’ve been meaning to post more of my daily outfits… but I’m always in a hurry in the morning and don’t have time to take pics! Daily Outfit: Macaroni Grill Edition
Yet another daily outfit post that’s way late… it’s so much harder to post these regularly when I’m not in school and on the computer all day! I wore this to Macaroni Grill last weekend for one last dinner before my sister left for school (this was the same night I took my multiplicity photos). I used curlers on my hair for the first time that night and I really like the way it turned out (thanks to my mom for helping me), so I’m going to try to do this more often! And also, I love leggings :)

Daily Outfit: Comfy Casual Christmas Edition
Once again, this post is a little late… but I wore this outfit on Monday for a casual dinner with some friends I haven’t seen in forever and then to hang out with Craig and his sister! I bought this sweatshirt awhile ago at Forever 21 and then kind of forgot about it… but I absolutely love it!! It reminds me of the Jan Brett books with Christmasy illustrations that I would read as a child. Love.

Daily Outfit: Margarita Christmas Edition
I wore this outfit on Thursday for our annual Margarita Christmas! It’s a little late, I know. And yes, we still call it margarita Christmas even when we’re drinking wine :) Last year we called it “Carb-Load Margarita Christmas,” so this year we tried to do a better job at having more than just bread and pasta. We had spaghetti, veggie meatballs, salad from Portillo’s, bread, and wine. It was ssooo delicious and it made me even more excited for Christmas Day deliciousness!
I just bought this skirt from Express the other day, so I was experimenting with what to wear it with when I came up with this outfit! I might wear a variation of this on Christmas, since I will be around different people… but shh don’t tell anyone. I could always wear tights and heels to dress it up a little more.

I wore this outfit today for a class presentation and lunch with my dad and Craig at Bahama Breeze! I’ve actually had dark jeans on all day and I’m planning on switching to the black pants for my presentation at 6 tonight. I should have taken a photo with the jeans on because I LOVE these heels with jeans. And surprisingly they’re really comfy! And also, this shirt is new. I like.

Daily Outfit: Trans-Siberian Orchestra Edition
I wore this outfit to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra last night with Craig! I didn’t really know much about them before I went, but the concert was amazing!! Their music was great, plus there were lasers, guitars, violinists, pianos, fire… what more could you want?? Overall a really impressive show. Definitely glad we decided to go!!
We bought tickets last minute yesterday, so luckily I had my new blue dress from Express to wear… plus new earrings that I’m obsessed with :) I was worried the dress wouldn’t fit, since I bought it online and took a risk buying a size small, but it fits great! Another successful Express shopping spree.

Daily Outfit: Dress That Matches My Hair Edition
I wore this outfit yesterday for class and my lunch date turned lunch/dinner/movie date :) I absolutely love wearing leggings in the winter and this is one of only a couple outfits I have to wear them with. I just got another sweater dress in the mail from Express though, yay! They’re not extremely warm… but they’re ssooo comfy!

I finally bought a couple scarves yesterday so I can stop borrowing my sister’s. I got $30 off, so I paid $20 for the 2 scarves- I love coupons at Express! I was going to dress nicer today (because I’m going to Bahama Breeze tonight for Craig’s birthday!), but when I woke up with a clogged nose and a sore throat I decided to go a little comfier. Heels and a cold do not go well together :/
